Dr Daniel Su was recently elected to the Council of the College of Ophthalmologists, Singapore. He will serve as Council Member from 2020 to 2022. The College of Ophthalmologists was formed in 2009 under the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, to facilitate and enhance the professional development and continuing medical education of Ophthalmologists.

Dr Daniel Su Now Offers Hydrus Microstent Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery

Dr Daniel Su recently completed a stringent certification process and is now certified by Ivantis Inc. to perform Hydrus microstent surgery. This is a type of Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) which helps reduce eye pressure in glaucoma patients thereby preventing further optic nerve damage and vision loss. The Hydrus implant may benefit patients who have poorly controlled eye pressure and those who suffer adverse reactions to their glaucoma eyedrops.
